CarTunes: Painting the Town
Several months back I started to add gas stations, restaurants and street corners to my Classic car paintings. With all those elements adding up it was only a matter of time before someone would commission me to paint their entire collection of cars into one large painting.
That’s exactly what happened after painting a roadster for my new friends Fred and Marci. After staring at my first painting for an hour, they got the idea for a much larger painting that would go in their car garage. My painting will hang above the “diner booth,” and it will look like you’re sitting in the booth, looking out the window at their vintage cars in town.
During the next few weeks I will be posting the progress and challenges so you can see how well we’re “cruising along.”
